Anas obtained his PhD in Computational Biology from the University of Warwick before taking up a postdoc at the University of Oxford. He was a Turing-funded Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham jointly supervised with Dr Andrew Beggs. He is now a Lecturer at the University of Birmingham.
