Alyssa Despotis is a DPhil Student at the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit (NPEU) within the Nuffield Department of Population Health co-supervised with Gracia Fellmeth and Claire Carson.

Alyssa graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis prior to completing the MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology at the University of Oxford. Her current research focuses on maternal mental health.
